Another “Key” That is Life Changing
I am holding out another “key” to you that has been even more life-changing, in my life, than the Ketogenic Diet. This “key” opens up a Treasure Chest filled with joy beyond compare.
This key may be found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus said this about himself in John 14:6: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” He also said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.” John 11:25
There are so many people who can quote John 3:16. They see that verse at football games, on billboards, on signs outside of churches, or they have had it quoted to them. But I ask how many people know what the following two verses say? Jesus told Nicodemus, speaking of himself:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.“ John 3:16-18
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the key to the forgiveness of sin and eternal life in heaven. You find that key within the context of John 3:16 and the Treasure is Jesus.
Jesus spoke about Heaven as being a treasure in the following parable from Matthew 13:44-46: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field.
“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls. 46 When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it!”
You now have the “Key” to open up the “Treasure Chest”. The choice is yours. Will you open it?
If you read these verses and you discover that you have been looking for the “key” to forgiveness I ask you to simply talk to God and pray (praying is talking to God with a sincere heart) the following prayer: Dear God, I want You in my life and I ask that You forgive me of my sin. I accept Your Son as my Savior. Thank You, Father, for sending Your Son Jesus to save me and I look forward to spending eternity with You in heaven. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
I encourage you to start reading the Bible – you might want to start with the book of John in the New Testament. Find a church, in your area, that teaches the truth of God’s Word (the Bible) and pray to God every day.
